Guam Block Party
This weekend there was a BBQ block party down in Tumon, the food and entertainment was great! They had live bands and many performances from a group out of Pacific Island Club (PIC) they performed Samoan, Tahitian, Micronesian, and many more dances.
Me and my wife walked around all the booths they had a variety of prizes and over all a great night. By the end of the night the Mount Carmel Band had everybody dancing to their music and they finished it off with Electric Slide.
If you are ever in the Guam area be sure to be on the look out for the many fiestas going on around the island.

Wedding time!
Wonderful Wedding
Yesterday I had the opportunity to witness the union of a good friend of mine and his other half, it was a great day with my family and exciting since the last wedding I was at was my own.
The setting was wonderful the ceremony was on the beach in Guam and the reception was at a restaurant/pub The Cove, it was a whole new experience one of which I loved.
When we were listening to the speeches given by the crowd one person stood up and gave one of the most thoughtful speeches I've ever heard he said "first treat your wife as your sister and think about how you would want your sister to be treated and then treat her as your wife" my wife was so moved that she looked over to me and said "I wish Clesca did our wedding."
I love weddings and I am glad I had the opportunity to attend this one congratulations Mr. and Mrs….

MY First Father's Day
MY first Father’s Day 21 June 2015
When I woke up on 21 June 2015, it was a new experience for me. My son was born a few months prior and I just had a great feeling waking up seeing my son laying there next to my wife with his happy face plastered on. Everything I was feeling was almost too much for me, It was Father’s Day and I was going to enjoy it at much as I could.
I know my wife has been busy and staying up late for long nights on end so that I can get rest for work and I love her so much for that. I didn’t wake up to normal means as in breakfast in bed or even a nice spread downstairs waiting on me, I didn’t care about any of that, what I wanted to hear was “Happy Father’s Day babe, I love you” and that’s exactly what I got along with a wonderful picture frame with me and my son.
What made my day special was not only am I able to call myself a father for the first time but it was exactly 3 months that day my son was born.
So in the word’s of Big Sean “BLESSINGS”

Finding out my wife is pregnant
Last year my wife simply Tuiesa and I had a conversation about when we wanted to have kids and we decided that then and there we would start. when I agreed to it I didn't understand the finer points of a woman's menstrual cycle and how hardcore they become when they are in that time frame. There would be times when i wanted to sleep so bad and I would turn around and she would say its time, I would literally sweat drop by how fierce she was about having a baby. I mean I was enthusiastic about it too but sometimes you have to think about sleep and how wonderful it can be.
A couple weeks later still nothing new and we start to get discouraged, everybody is giving us advice and we try take it in with a smile and head nod but I would never forget the one sound advice that i took to heart. My uncle told us to let it be and it will come don't try to get pregnant and stress about it because it never happens that way.
Flash forward - So we slow down and put it to the side for a bit. Two weeks later and were laying in bed (its late by the way) and my wife turns over and gives me that look, so I give her a different look remembering our conversation with my uncle and said "I don't want to do it tonight I'm stressed out right now and I don't want to stress out" and promptly turned over and fell asleep. That night was one of the best times I've ever slept.
We let nature take its toll and a month later we move on from actively trying to get pregnant when my wife is freaking out and feeling sick, in the back of my head I'm thinking she's pregnant but naw that cant be right its not that fast. she wants to go the Emergency room and I'm freaking wondering whats going on and if she was OK. she walks out into the waiting room gives me a sheepish look saying that it was only diarrhea, my face probably wasn't the most loving one at that moment and she quickly whispers to me "I'm pregnant." wait what! "I'm pregnant" she says again i was so happy at that moment and I held her stomach and couldn't help but laugh and tear up knowing that there was someone growing in there.
Whenever your feeling down and don't know if what your doing is right. don't stress out (really it worked for me) and hopefully for you and don't let your wife break the news to you that way. let me know your stories if you have any funny ones.
